The Easy Summer Sangria Recipe That Will Guarantee To Slay Any Gathering

I love me a Sangria! It’s one of my favorite go to hot weather drinks.

And while the world stopped spinning last year I took it upon myself, with a little help from mom, to try my hand at mixology. I needed something to do last summer. During our experimenting we came up with this amazing white sangria recipe that was absolutely AMAZING!

I’m talking so good that it didn’t taste like alcohol although there was nothing but alcohol in it!

This drink isn’t sweet, it’s very light, refreshing and taste heavenly on a hot day. Just be careful because it has a tendency to sneak up on you!

For this recipe there was never an exact measurement of ingredients since we always did it to taste, mom and I always ended up a little tipsy after making a some. However, I’ve included the ingredients below with rough estimations of how much as well as step by step instructions of what to do.

Hope you enjoy it as much as we have!

Summer Sangria

Ingredients for a gallon to gallon and a half

  • 2 Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc

  • 1 E & J Peach Brandy

  • TRULY Hard Seltzer 2 Lemon, 2 Lime, (optional 1 Orange) flavors

  • 1 Sparking ICE Orange Mango Flavor

  • Frozen or Fresh Fruit (2 lemon, 2 limes, 2 peaches, 1 package strawberries)

  1. I like to ferment the fruit before hand, I find that the sangria just tastes better. I cut up all the fruit, put it in a container with a lid and pour one bottle of Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc on top of it. Then I stick it in the refrigerator for 24 hours, don’t do it any longer than 48 hours because then the fruit starts looking gross.

  2. Pour the fermented fruit in your serving container, we have a really nice glass one. Try to watch for fruit that is broken up if you have a serving contain like mine because little seeds and pieces of fruit can get stuck in the spout.

  3. Pour in the second bottle of Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc. About a quarter of the E & J Peach Brandy (this stuff is so good), one lemon TRULY, one lime TRULY, optional half of an orange TRULY. Followed by half a bottle of the Sparking ICE Orange Mango drink and stir.

  4. TASTE IT! I put this in bold because this is where I would always taste the drink to see what else I needed more of. Pour a little of the sangria in a wine glass with an ice cube or two. I usually needed to add a little more E & J Peach Brandy, maybe a little more lemon TRULY and sometimes the rest of the Sparkling ICE Orange Mango. Again not a exact science and since you’re drinking it you should really like how it tastes so make it how you like it.

  5. Give it one final stir and stick it in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours to settle and get cold! That’s it!
