LTX Fest Has Come to and End. Here’s What You Missed…

From the Virtual Brunch to the El Poder del Pitch, this year’s LTX Fest has been filled with exciting moments. What is LTX Fest you may ask? LTX Fest is a curated experience, which was made virtual this year, bringing together over

nearly 8,000 attendees, including technologists, business leaders, philanthropists, investors, developers, innovators and many more Latinx professionals.

What did So She Slays love?

Our first highlight was a deep dive into skill-building and leadership in the Tech industry. On the business track, there was a session called ‘The Business of Tech.’ This session had speakers Anthony Hernandez, Ingrid Cubillos, Raysana Hurtado Amador, and Roxanne Diaz who all gave amazing insight around working in technology.

Our second highlight was learning from top investors: Adeyemi Ajao, Miriam Rivera and Tom Chavez, sharing how they made it to the top while making sure representation was prioritized.

We also loved exploring the different areas of entrepreneurship, from the different ways to get funding to learning how to negotiate your contract when joining an early startup and learning about the untapped opportunities in Fintech.

Our third highlight was El Poder del Pitch, sponsored by Comcast and Telemundo. There were so many amazing products and entrepreneurs. The three winners were Echo Me Forward, SOMOS and College Thrifts and we can’t wait to see how these ideas and entrepreneurs develop.

For the second year running, Comcast is the presenting sponsor of LTX Fest, and we were so grateful to be a part of it by hosting a kick-off virtual brunch event in partnership with Comcast. We hope everyone learned from the innovators and business leaders who shared their wisdom.

Today is the last day of the book giveaway. LTX Fest and Comcast are giving away a few amazing books from authors like Paola Ramos, America Ferrera, and Maria Hinojosa. You can check out the winner here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CGSfZBFg_yU/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

See you next year LTX Fest!
