Wait Meditation Works

Meditation can be defined as a practice where an individual focuses their mind on a particular object, thought or activity to achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm state.

So let me honest I was super skeptical about the newfound love for Meditation. I just did not understand the concept of sitting still and breathing.

Yes, I love yoga, and I can be all namaste and feel at ease, but I was not sure I was the mediating type of girl ya know?


Meditation to me was a new concept for me. I never thought I could stay still for an extended period and clear my mind of unnecessary stress. Just me, myself and my breathing techniques. 

I recently start mediating in 2017, and it has honestly improved my daily life and sleeping schedule. A friend of mines give some excellent apps to use to learn how to meditate properly finally. 

I take moments in my day to find a quiet space to sit and breathe. I love to meditate in the early morning or before I go to bed. It helps me collect my thoughts and ease any anxiety I am currently feeling at the time.
